Sensor Mastery Class
Modules 1 + 2 + 3 — from robot anatomy through Scratch programming to ultrasonic/infrared closed-loop control. Ready for automated task events.

Course goals
What we teach
Master the core sensor set
Walk away able to solve scoring tasks in line-following and obstacle-avoidance events.
Build closed-loop thinking
Move from sequential code to sense-decide-act loops.
Curriculum
What happens in class?
Module 1 — Anatomy of robots
Sensors as eyes/ears, actuators as hands/legs, and how they connect.
Module 2 — Linear instructions and loops
Scratch graphical programming: forward/backward/turning with loops.
Module 3 — Sensor-based logic and loops
Ultrasonic sensors for obstacle avoidance, infrared sensors for line-following.
Course details
Modules: M1 robot anatomy + M2 linear instructions and loops (Scratch graphical programming) + M3 sensor-based closed-loop control (ultrasonic avoidance, infrared line-following). Duration: 4 hours (two 2-hour blocks). Hardware: 6-in-1 Robot. Matching events: beginner line-following, obstacle clearance, and most mainstream automated task competitions.
Schedule
A day in the course
Two 2-hour blocks: graphical programming first, then sensor closed-loop control.
Competition
Challenge rules
Graduates are ready for mainstream beginner line-following and obstacle-clearance events.
